Re: win a geocoin

Brother-in-law mentioned the word geocaching and the seed was planted. A few weeks later remembered and googled the word, happened to have a GPS lying around and well...

Re: Geocaching with Dogs

Katie, I'm no fan of dogs myself but if you tell us which city you're in it may help narrow down some victims interviewees if you haven't had a satisfactory response yet. I'm in Brisbane and know of a few cachers with a geo-hound.

So that explains that.
Because, C@W, you're the one being rude in this situation [/sarcasm] I agree with you, tools.

This is a discussion RE: ET Power Trail.

I believe it has recently been archived due to traffic hazard or some other silly political excuse.

Re: Stats from other Geocaching sites.

Maybe Captain Terror will give Terracaching a miss. More trouble than it's worth. Stick to GCA caches I think. Seems to keep enough on C@W's plate as it is.

Re: Stats from other Geocaching sites.

Ah ok, that helps C@W :)

I'm only going to bother finding terracaches if the stats will show up on GCA. I would say don't cater for them just for me, if there are others that terracache it would be much more worth your while.

Re: Stats from other Geocaching sites.

I'm looking to sign up on terracaching and I'm not gonna lie, the sponsor thing seems a bit odd. Wondering which external sites GCA imports stats from? The obvious are OX, GC and GCA but I assume there are perhaps a couple more?

Ones 18th Birthday present is a shiny new GPS. His following birthday is spent geocaching.

Re: Is there a NZ site like ours?

No there isn't. GC covers pretty much all NZ needs. Thanks, that solves that then :) Pretty much like Ireland here.... very tight active community with a scarily similar forum, but wont touch open caching for quids. I'm keen as to find me an opencache. But with my closest one being in Bundaberg and...

That is where we hang out.
It's a bit more general than just Geocaching, but a large proportion of us are cachers.
Is there a New Zealand specific cache listing site or is it just OX, GCA and GC?

Loving the idea that GCA caches now appear in blue on the Australian maps. Makes cache planning much easier for me anyways :) Top thinking folks!

Try contacting user 'Rogainer' for obvious reasons. I know at least one of his caches is orienteering based.
