Try extracting it into a new folder and then copying across the geomonkey.prop file... Worked for me...

Is this any use to you?

http://www.insidecorner.com/geocaching/ ... &check4=on

It will give you the basic caching activity and you can drill down on the caches if you want to see the specifics...

Cache Monkey Works Again

Just thought I'd let everyone know that I've installed the 1.5a version and it works fine... I had some trouble initially but doing a fresh install to a new folder (and then copying the cachemonkey.prop file over the top) did the trick... Thanks Brad

Welcome

Welcome to the game... I'll warn you now - Once you start - you cannot stop... I'm not 4WD enabled myself, but I do know that there are already a number of caches out there which require a 4WD (or a very long hike) to get to them... Feel free to add some more... As for the GPS... The Magellan 300 wi...

Risky Business

Hmmm... I know what you mean HoundDog... For me the most risky thing so far was definitely the hunt for the Final Cut... I was definitely out of my comfort zone during that one  , but am very glad I did it as the whole experience was very rewarding... Luckily I took an experienced climber wit...

Longest non-visited cache...

For all the cache placers out there...

I was just wondering whose caches have not been visited for the longest...

Feel free to add a reply below if you have something special to mention, but otherwise add an entry in the poll below... My max at the moment is 110 days...

Same here...

I get the same... I also noticed that in the DOS window there are lot's of error: null null lines, followed by a few messages saying Sorter not informed of change in model followed by one line saying: error making unique names: null

It's probably an "upgrade" to the geocaching.com site... :-(

error

I'm using WinXPPro and IE6 as well, and wasn't getting any problems... However, when I turn on the "display a notification about every script error", I see the same errors as Riblit & Hounddog when trying to type anything in the search box. the rest of the map functionality seems to work ok though...

Another point

Another point I should have mentioned is that if you do decide to order from the US, it's worth getting them to send it by normal mail rather than courier... I have heard that if it's sent by courier, there is a good chance you will be slugged for customs fees, duties, GST etc... If it comes by mail...

I can't vouch for the SportTrak Pro, but I know that you can replace the basemap on the Meridian models (Gold, Platinum & Color only)...
I use a Magellan Meridian Yellow and 32Mb of memory holds all of NSW & ACT down to street level. These maps are available as the MapSend product and cost abou...

feedback

Hi guys... just had a little play with the new maps and have the following for you: Looks very good, but it's a little difficult to make a full assessment as some of the links still point back to the old planner... getting the map positioned at the area you want to look at is therefore a little tric...
