Notification of new topics... [closed]

i!...
Is there any way we can implement an e-mail notification of new topics in the forum (preferably by section, but if not globally)...
I currently get notifications of new messages in threads I've contributed to, but new threads slip through the net...

Using CacheMonkey, you can extract all the caches, then sort on date hidden and click on the cache to display the cache page...

Alternatively, Geocaching.com membership gives you use of the pocket query facility which allows you to list all caches hidden between two dates...

Some time ago, I questioned the inaccuracies in the current version of MapSend and Jason Beltran told me that there would be a new version in about 6 weeks (or whenever the Americans felt like releasing it) and that he would send me a complimentary copy when it was available... So far, he hasn't ask...

The only things I can add to the list are:
- my Pocket PC with details of all NSW caches on it
- my patented waypoint detector (a wide angle mirror)
- a spare pair of sunglasses (coz I always lose mine on caches)
- a few microcache containers (just in case, or to put my cigarette butts in)

I won't be changing the rules for the Fifth Element cache, but I think the Bear's have a good suggestion... My only concern is that it might slow the game down a bit (or a score of easy caches littered all over the city)... If there is a next one, with the benefit of experience, I might fine-tune th...

Meridian

P.S. to Ecoteam's message...

If you buy the Gold or Platinum version (only) of Meridian, you can download the Australian basemap from the net.... In addition, you can add street level mapping to the Meridian (any model) by buying MapSend CDs (cost $148 per state)
