Is that the same friendly locksmith who attempts people's caches in the middle of the night, realises the owner has stuffed up the coordinates when stamping and then corrects their errors for free? Meanwhile the owner of the cache drives home and leaves the locksmith bogged and with no one to help h...

I think there may be a waymarking category for these coins, that may help.

I'm terribly embarrassed for not having posted earlier. The pathtags are great! Many thanks for the concept and the great puzzles. Everyone I've spoken to are really enjoying the series.

I found DF2's log almost laughable! I have never witnessed Map Monkey be anything but polite! On the topic of subtle hints though, have you been picking up on those directed at you, DF2?

Put things in that are useful or that kids might actually like to play with. New toys are good, McDonalds figurines are not. Blockbuster DVDs are good, movies from the 50s are not (as a rule). A set of drink coasters is good, one drink coaster is not (it won't match the others in the set.)

...

I used the advice on the following link to tweak my iPaq for Wherigo caches. Occasionally I have to reset my iPaq which puts the setting back to its default mode, which means when I do a Wherigo I have to go through the process again. I have since learnt to keep a text file with the instructions on ...

If you are placing a cache in a remote area, remember that the majority of the cachers will be tourists and probably on a time restriction. They will not appreciate having a long search for a well hidden cache or to do a seven point multi. I disagree. Why change your hiding practice to appease the ...

I have the same problem with the compass on my 60CSx and haven't found a solution yet. On the topic of batteries, whilst in Tassie recently I tried a cheap brand that I picked up in bulk and found my GPSr wouldn't even turn on! However, once I did turn it on (by connecting it to the car charger) it ...

I wish I'd seen this earlier, crap logs are a pet peeve of mine. The only thing I wanted to add is that I'd rather a unique 40 word log over a 70 word log that had two sentences of generic filler. It's just unnecessary padding!

http://mechanicrobotic.files.wordpress.com/2007/08/bekindrewind...
