Since posting this 5 months ago, I have found 83 caches inside 30km of home (including 4 of the ones on islands), and the number of unfound caches has GONE UP from 35 to 36! When logging the multiple cache events - eg Heptathlon or Decathlon - the highest scoring cache is logged, and the rest are listed in the justification box ...
