I just stumbled upon this topic, I only check the forums every week or so these days. I fear that it was my find on an eight year archived virtual cache that was the catalyst for all all archived virtual caches in Australia being locked. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx?LUID=261449b0-6574-443...

This has been discussed on the local FB page. Riblit mistakenly published the cache, it is in NPWS controlled land and doesn't have NPWS consent, hence the publication being retracted.

The cache was originally listed that way if I recall, GCA Fairies must not have picked up the change.

Is there a reason why the following page no longer shows the dates for 1,000 caches per PQ? Is it just me? Is it just today? I uses this once a month or so to change the dates on my PQs.

I must say I haven't used them before. I'd be interested to know what people are using these coordinates for? Apart from creating dummy coords for a cache I can't see where I would use them, especially daily. I don't think I have used the function for geocaching, but if I am going hiking into an un...

I did some calculations based on the caches I've logged on the 6 months, 1 year and 2 years unloved locationless and came up with 18 odd years so I qualified for the 15 year one at Berry, NSW and the one down in Melbourne. One of these was found with a group so just in case one of the other finders...

I know a NSW Leader that found 1,002 last weekend, so at best I am now second in NSW, more likely I'll slip right off that board!

I've just reached 19 days. This is a pretty big achievement for me, I have less than 10 unfound caches within 30km of home. Twice each week I am leaving home around 11pm and driving nearly an hour to make a find, waiting until the clock ticks over to midnight, and then making another find and before...

I normally travel for work alone. However, last week I accompanied my Boss on a 3 hour trip (each way). He asked if I wanted to make any geocaching stops! I limited myself to one each way

Before you jump in, I would wait till some of these bugs are resolved if your intending taking it O/S soon as I think you will be very frustrated with compass as it stands now, but if you willing to do a little stop/start dance then go ahead.
