Visited Victoria's oldest cache today
"Melbourne's 1st"

Cache in good condition, unaffected by fires.

Have found 4 of Australia's oldest, need more annual leave :D

Evince co-ord checking

Just a question, but is there a problem with the Evince Co-ordinate checking website? Yesterday, it was down for maintenance, today I can't get the website up at all. http://www.evince.locusprime.net/ Alot of puzzle caches have Evince as their method of checking co-ord calculations. Couldn't check a...

Why would you want to disadvantage and even inconvenience those cachers who (quite reasonably) expect to find spoiler information in that field?
My point exactly - it is spoiler information that is provided.
It is quite reasonable to place it in hints

maybe the information should just be in the text of the cache page
Personal choice,

but I agree with others in this thread - no matter how short or long the hint, it must be relevant

My hints will reflect the difficulty of actually reaching GZ, The last thing a cacher wants after walking 30kms, or climbing 1km up is a cryptic hint, or no hint at all. After all that effort they want a nice easy find before the slog back to the car That is why I give an accurate description (even ...

Team Derringer have always been aware of how suspicious our activity looks to others, We have taken the step of minimising our caching activities for a few weeks until the fires settle down. We do few urban caches (personal choice), but would not like to be found by a group of vigilantes thinking we...

It's just hit 46.5 degrees C, in the shade here in Seymour Vic.

Our 5th day of over 40 degrees with no end in sight,

Not even the birds are flying, nothing is moving.

If you are contemplating going out caching in this heat, Please reconsider and stay indoors

Stay safe!!!!

Was wondering why some graphs are different in the set out

The coloured graph I produced was a result of a GSAK macro

Well Rounded cachers

With the competition due to start soon, am wondering if any "Well rounded cachers" exist at present

Here is my profile - I don't even rate a 3/3
