Try ebay - my eldest bought an HP branded pda holder and car charger for his ipaq. He paid $32 including postage and tells me the holder works well. It's bendy, with a suction cap on the windscreen end. It arrived last week.

I would have loved a mentor - it would be great to have an experienced cacher take newbies out for a couple of hours to start them off.
