Re: 10 Years as a listing service
Hear, hear to all the thankyou's and congratulations above. All well-deserved by the recipients and participants. We enjoy participating in the GCA form of the game/hobby/obsession and if we are travelling to a fresh location I search the offerings on GCA first as, for Australia, it is a better sear...

The western side of Melbourne is completely cleaned out of frogs.
It looks like you eastern suburbs teams have raided them all without bringing any over. LOL

Re: You know you're a Geocacher when............................
You have a team visiting from interstate and the weather looks threatening but you head out anyway. The weather deteriorates to intermittent downpours. Wet boots, wet …..! At one stage a statement is made and it is rationalised by my wife saying "Well, we are just normal people" Hmm, out in the bush...

Re: How many hides is too many?
A rather timely thread as I archived an unpopular 4 point multi this week. I seems anything more than 2 points is of no interest to the current generation of paperless numbers chasers. I will probably replace a couple of the waypoints with traditionals or short multis. When I looked at my ‘favourite...

Re: Report GCA Site issues here
G'day IT Gurus
We have 'Nearby' and 'Nearby GCA'
Is it possible to have 'Nearby I have not found' and ‘Nearby GCA I have not found' or do I need to get GSAK ?
Or have I had a 'senior moment’ and publicly embarrassed myself and it is there ?
Cheers

Re: Wagga Wagga under floods.
The Rock approximately 20 minutes south of Wagga where baby&Mrs gopher live suffered severe flood damage last weekend. They evacuated around 1am on Saturday morning along with most of the town and the residents from the Aged Care facility. I am told approximately 50% of the houses and business suffe...

Re: Contact info inside caches
I too had a positive response to my phone number.
A contractor cutting down the now dead hollow tree our cache was in found the container and rang my mobile.
I was able to pick up the cache on my way home and reconfigure the multi to a different final location.

I have just received this email re. our Tulla Travel Bug Motel near Melbourne's Tullamarine Airport. Hello Team Ladava, I just found your Travel Bug Hotel cache. (Great hiding place!!) However, I must inform you that as I was replacing the post, two Australian Federal Police officers approached in a...
