Re: How many found in between home and your nearest unfound.

I have 193 caches found between home and my nearest unfound (on GC.com), including 115 GC and 78 GCA caches.

I have 117 GCA caches found before my nearest unfound GCA cache.

I need to stop being obsessed!?!

Re: Frog Blindness Support Group

Getting back on topic with a frog blindness story Out :frog hunting - and letting the boy have the finds, told him the hint said it was behind a log, so while he poked around in the log I walked around the back and easily spotted the purple bison tube, behind a large stick, i even shifted the stick...

Re: Become a Mayor of a locale

Hi. Just found mayoralties on the stats page. Can't find any reference in the wiki. You're quick :-) That only went live about 4:00pm today. Now that the cat is out of the bag (as it were) here are the details. http://wiki.geocaching.com.au/wiki/Mayoralties Mayoralities are based on the concept fro...

Re: Thanks and Good Wishes to Banksia777

Many geocachers in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney will know of the iconic caches of Banksia777. Some of them are very near my home and were instrumental in originally getting me interested in our pastime. I couldn't have put this better, when I first started I would actively seek out Banksia77 c...

=D> \:D/ The ICEM Lithgow cache will be in place tomorrow. Can't wait to see who will have the most ICEM finds by the end of the year! #-o ](*,) Good work! I'll put my hand up for Turramurra unless someone else has this 'town' in their sights . . . If you go there, can I have Megalong? Or Kurrajong...

Re: Updating of missing Cache Logs

My Cache Page, Graphs, Monthly Finds, for September has 20 GCA. On My Cache Page, Finds it only shows 19. In total it also shows 1566 GC, as does GC.com. I just imported it. My gemstone says 379 GA finds. My total finds is 1944?!? Again one short. My guess. The dual listed "Rolling by the Hall", whi...

Re: Trig points - a general discussion

After logging a Trig yesterday in (finally) noticed they were all 1 Difficulty/1 Terrain.

While it would be hard to argue with the Difficulty as they are obvious from metres away I am going to adjust the Terrain on some, if required.

Re: Trig points - a general discussion

One idea might be -- if we think a particular trig ought to be archived, then we canvas the opinion of other trig enthusiasts via this Forum. If done in a friendly and polite way, this approach might avoid problems. So how about these: http://geocaching.com.au/cache/tp5724 http://geocaching.com.au/...

Re: Report GCA Site issues here

Ahhh, I see. You're too far South :-) But seriously, I see what the issue is and I can fix it, but this will need to wait until I get back to my code base tonight. This should have been fixed. A slight miscalculation of the lat/lon distances in Tasmania. Thanks for the fix, but how did Tasmania aff...
