New caches show up ok, however old ones don't. mm I'm not quite surewhat you are trying to do, but I think that the RegEx engine is your way around this. The following procedure should fix things... 1 - Do a normal full backup of all of your databases. 2 - Under >Tools>Options>General select RegEx ...

I bought 2 Digitalk 40 channel handhelds for about $60 on Ebay. They came with batteries and a 12v and a 240v charger. The best distance covered was 4.5 Kms line of site - reception was a bit scratchy using the 2 handhelds, but handheld to car was perfect :). The expected coverage in scrub/bushland ...

The Palm Vx is quite a reasonable entry level PDA and will hold all WA caches and more. They usually sell for $50-$60 on ebay with cradle and software. Usually plenty of them around as well.

After finding a regular cache in a small park near Parramatta, we found one of these containers. After opening it we realised what it was so removed it to a suitable place (our rubbish bin). I'm not sure if it had been used or not. While we had no particular desire to touch it, it had been clearly v...

Re: Download page

Just create a page on the wiki, or find a page that is suitable. Thanks - I hadn't given that much thought, though it probably could be done. What I was getting at though, is a separate download page that is easily accessible and is not going to get lost in a Wiki. For example - a Downloads and Lin...

Download page

Over time people find, create data or write programs that may be useful to others and are prepared to share it.

Is there a page on the GCA website where we can do this?

Have a look at the UBD website (Cdrom section - City Streets). There is a section there on auto routing and it's pc based. I have not inquired about pricing though. Currently UBD maps are not suitable for Oziexplorer, though they have told me that version 3, due out in November, will 'interface with...

Thanks Rog - you're right. GC allows for deletion or for a permanent decryption. I would have wanted to edit but it does open up a can of worms, so it's probably better if it's not available. :D

Editing GCA Cache Logs [closed]

Is it possible to include an option for the cache owner to edit a cache log as is available on GC caches (through gc.com).

The reasons for this vary - it be to remove undesirable clues to the cache or remove an undesirable comment.

Ok Rod - I'll leave it to you. A quick look at the file data though shows the reason why the results were not as expected.
