Have used the iPhone for a number of caches with the GC app and also just a GPS app but it can be frustrating while it downloads maps or loses gps signal. A simple Garmin gps does a far better job.

My dogs have been to nearly every find I've done, mostly on the lead so they don't run off while I'm looking around for the cache but sometimes in a park they are off lead.

I'm new to this game and have only found 13 including a few gnomes, there's some nearby to me that I haven't gone to get yet, but after finding local ones not sure I'd seek too many more out. See how we go, if I happen to travel somewhere and there's a cache nearby then I might seek it out but depen...

What's the go if you move a gnome and they don't get moved again, can you grab them back and move somewhere else? Use the old log or make another entry? Or just leave it and hope they get moved..?
