Re: GSAK Question
Yes, I noticed that straight away when I tried to go to the cache page again. It remains in the "Quick view" list for 30 days, but after that I suspect it's gone for good. And from the "Quick View" the "visit log" link still takes me to my log, but after 30 days, again I suspect I will never be able...

Re: Australian Power Trails
I like the new ACT one, a lot. Nice walk, well prepared and circular back to the car. And it can be ridden on a mountain bike. Wrong, oh so wrong. (Ah, I see you haven't done them yet) A mountain bike in there would be a hindrance. There is so much cross country, its easier to walk the whole lot - ...

Re: Australian Power Trails
Talking power trails, I was told about an incident that happen last weekend on a power trail at Stanthorpe where a couple of cachers got together and one did the evens and the other the odds and logged each others names. I just wonder who they are trying to cheat. Themselves or the rest of the cach...

Re: Visit Hobart, Melbourne, Darwin, Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane
A quick bit of background. A number of Aussie geocachers met Vrso in Dunedin at the Mega Event. He is a GC.com reviewer in Europe with the mad plan of finding a cache in each Australian state/territory. If he does it (which I think he will) he'll probably set a record for doing it in the shortest t...

Re: GSAK Question
I was the last to find & LOG it, before it got "unpublished" I also mentioned in my log a veiled query about the proximity to Agent Basils nearby cache as it was way too close to that GZ. Not the first time that cacher or his mate have placed caches (& got them published) too close to others, even 5...

Re: Geo Art?
Yes, but it was a tongue in cheek thing to represent Tankengine, the cacher we have here in the ACT.Laighside Legends wrote:Technically I don't think its a tank engine since its meant to have a tender... Still pretty impressive though.mtbikeroz wrote:A TANKENGINE - Priceless, Amazing.

He's got it written on a bit of paper .....Laighside Legends wrote:Well I headed of caching today with the intent to go to an event at 12 noon and a hour (or two) before hand I still had no idea what the time was... Had to ring another cacher and ask "What is the time?"...

Phone towers can be ............(triangulation)
Benchmarks, Survey Markers are used to aid in surveying .....
Where does one stop?????
Anyway, nevermind, as I said above, no problem for me, I'll find it.
