A geocaching based story just started on Channel 10 in SA - plenty of time for WA to make sure they watch.
Now who am I thinking of?

Can you spot the cacher?
Hi All, Had a new cache published tonight, which has a webcam pointed straight at GZ. The webcam is located here: http://www.birkenheadtavern.com.au/ (Note: it sometimes takes a few seconds for the webcam picture to load). If you spot anyone caching, feel free to post a note along with the picture t...

GSAK: Mixing GCA and GC
I have GC and GCA caches stored in GSAK. Is there an easy solution for what I need to enter into the options to help GSAK determine the caches found/hidden by myself. If I use "Owner #Id" and use my GC id, then the GCA caches I've found won't get marked as found. I'm assuming I need to use "RegEx" b...

Re: 2010 news years caching resolutions.
I'm also planning on *not* putting out all the caches for Adelaide's annual 'Mad May' month. \:D/ That doesn't actually fill me with the kind of joy I might have expected. Instead I am anticipating 'Fiendish February', 'Devilish December', 'Unanswerable August' or something equally as unpleasant. :...

Occassionally they turn up. I recently came across a TB that went missing for three years from the US and turned up in Australia.

Re: New street view feature
What's nearmap - how do you view it? And how do you use Street view? Stuff i look at doesn't seem to be as good as you're talking about here? To use streetview grab the little man in the top left corner of the google map and drag him down to the street where you want to have a look. If Google have ...

Re: Good Swaps vs Bad Swaps
The problem with this question is the same as "How long is a piece of string?" What is considered a "good" swap to someone might not be to another. A huge range of people cache with differing tastes. Ditto that. Generally the only swapping that occurs is when I'm caching with the kids. They'll see ...

New street view feature
Just noticed today, when checking out a GZ using streetview, that the point you searched for now appears as a red bubble at the "correct" point in street view. In the case of the GZ I was looking at, it put it right on a sign post.

Re: Bogus Logs (dog108 is logging caches without finding them)
First two dog108 caches listed for review. I think I found one of them last night :o I was walking down the street and found a typical caching container that had been tossed out of a car into a bush. It didn't have a log book or pencil in it, so I'm assuming it has to be one of those dog108 caches :)

Re: Bogus Logs (dog108 is logging caches without finding them)
Must be an overseas thing to do when Winter Hits.
But then some virtuals enable pointless logging like that and really should be archived, like this one that Nexus69 had "found" http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_de ... a3876edb39
