Re: How do I load the files from a Pocket Query?
When you plug the GPS into your computer, does your computer recognise it as a drive? If it does, there's a quick way to do it. If it doesn't, it can still be done, but takes longer.

Re: unlisted trig stations
If you're in NSW, you can use the Six Maps site (http://maps.six.nsw.gov.au/). In the upper left corner, there is a button labelled 'Map Contents'. Click on this & you get to select 'Map Layers' options. Click on 'survey marks' to select. Zoom in on your area of the map (there's also a search functi...

Re: Early idea for 2013/2014 race
Can everyone please add a tag to their angel, so its easier to make a query. At present my query only displays 4 caches. The tag should be weepingangel (one word) that should show all the local angels. :weepingangel When I was adding the tag to my angels, I noticed the tag 'weepingangles' on the li...

As Tronador has already said, most cafes & McDonalds have free wi-fi access. I've used the one in the outdoor eating area behind Australia Square with no problems. You don't need to order anything at this one (at least you didn't last time I was there), but there are lots of places around that make ...

Re: Unloved - What is your total?
I started keeping track because of a 5 year spread the love style challenge. I know I'm over 15 years in total (so I can do the 15 year challenge cache next time I go down that way), but can't say offhand what my exact total is. I keep the stats in an excel worksheet, the file is on another computer.

I always wondered how that one survived for so long in such an open position. Now I understand, it doesn't, but you keep it alive .

Re: The fires
And Springwood has only light rain as well. In all honesty, staying away is probably the last thing the local economy wants. Sure, stay away in the period during and immediately afterwards the fires, but once they are out, or the danger has passed, then there should be no worries. Imagine, if you wi...

Around the Grounds (http://coord.info/GC1FVMY) - I spent ages on street view solving this one, then left it until I was in the area. And then street view got updated, so the CO archived the cache :( . And Archangel (http://coord.info/GC1AATC) - I remember giving another cacher a maths lesson which l...

Re: GCA in same area as GC?
There's a cacher just north of me who has a few caches cross listed on GC & GCA. One of them I realised it was a cross listing before I went looking, so I logged it on both sites to remove it from my close to home list. The other, I didn't check GCA before I went out that day & didn't realise it was...
