Well after playing with 2 Leg's Palm IIIe (note apostrophe), I decided to get one. Luckily a friend just bought his wife a PocketPC (Windows :?) PDA and my wife was impressed. "You must get a colour one!" she said. "You think so honey, they do cost a bit more " said I. Anyway, cut a long st...

I agree with the Pigmeister. I was creeping on the side of being a Geocop, questioning what other cachers were doing - but I have now seen the light. Numbers are a personal thing. If you're worried that such and such logged a cache and maybe cheating (and may get more logs than you :o), so what. If ...

I just hope the maths are good. I can't wait to see which crazy SOB Canberra cacher will get it first. A while back my money would have been on ThomasS, but I'm putting a lazy fiver on the Hill4. Go Hilly. :D Traineediplomat to come in a slow third. Personally, I'm doing this on the deadly treadly (...

Some of you guys should get out more - the women in the video, especially leopard woman, are a little on the (I don't know what word to insert here) side. The music in the video is a little cheesy as well, and reminds me of that genre of film that's available in my neck of the woods. Opps! That's gi...

You can use the Geoscience Australia GIS data to make your own maps. Start at http://www.ga.gov.au/download/ Then you'll need software to read the data (I download shapefile data) and throw it into something like GPS Map edit (http://kgy.narod.ru/util/mapedit/mapedit_e.htm), saved as Polish text, ru...

OK. I think I'm on the straight and narrow, or at least better informed. I'm currently tracking some 2nd hand Palms - the Vx and M505 (gotta have colour :) ). I presume a few people, such as EcoDave have used them. My only question, is either suitable for Geocaching? Can you load html files from GSA...
