Re: Happy B'day GCA (online event)
I agree. While I have met some people from around the country on trips or at megas, it was great to see some people who so far have only been names on the forums. Maybe we should do this more often especially over the next few months while physical meetings seem unlikely to be a possibility. One gre...

Re: 2019 enhancements in a nutshell
Even though I have been fairly quiet (on both sites) this year, I think a lot of good things have happened. Thanks for all the hard work.

Unfortunately not, he never seemed to be available when someone offered to go there from memory. I think Zal might have been the closest to the action in terms of contacting him.

Re: GC logs not showing in the GA page.
I normally import any logs for the last 10 days on a Thursday for all NSW/ACT caches (if I am away this might not happen). Someone else is obviously doing it as well as the thousands of caches I get with logs for the last 10 days often whittles down to a few hundred logs imported.

No reason you can't add them if you find them. I added a few NZ ones before the import happened from other sources.

Re: Report Site Issues Here
I'm on gmail as well, and noticed after whitewebbs post that I seem to have missed a couple of days. But back to normal this morning.
So maybe a generic gmail issue.

It seems much bigger now though, instead of just a small icon the same size as the text it is now quite large.

Re: Illegally placed geocaches in NPs
From memory since the policy/agreement was made, the GC reviewers are supposed to ask to see the permission note before publishing if they know it is NSW National Parks. Of course there are caches that predate that period, as well as some that might be close to the border and not obvious. Also back ...

Re: Idea: Links to personal stats without username
The only issue I can see is what would the facebook preview screenshot show, if the username isn't identified. I don't know enough about how fb previews work, is it a live shot of the image or a static one it captures when the user makes the post.

Re: Report Site Issues Here
I was doing my regular update of cache logs for ACT/NSW tonight and noticed this error message. Unknown log type, set to Noted: GC87RA8 'Event Announcement'. Please advise a site administrator. I don't know if this is a new way GSAK might be flagging it before I export, or if something else has chan...

Re: Locationless Caches
Going back to the problem of not knowing how to find them again when you remember to photo something that matches one you thought was in the list somewhere, perhaps the solution would be to add public tags to them. To use cantanga's example from last year, perhaps if a few tags were added like "semi...

Re: Oh my! What has happened in NZ?
A good addition, I see you must have used some smarts to avoid duplicates of ones that had already been manually added by myself and others as we came across them. Easier than studying the maps if/when I next get back there.
