Team Red Roo is now officially on holidays 8) , but with some extra time available, we'll have a look at the WA postcodes, starting in the metropolitan area. It'll probably take 3 weeks or so for us to 'get back to you', that's our next expected access to the internet. In the meantime, we have some ...

GCA logos

I have a small project in mind which requires the square four colour Australia logo. Does anyone have a higher resolution file - one that I can expand a little without pixellation?

I flew qantas recently to Sydney and back with the gps turned on almost all the way. I was able to turn the antenna and lock it with the window shutter and leave it there for almost the whole trip. I was only asked once (on the flight to Sydney) what it was. I have both tracks as a record.

Polling on this question just goes to show that in Geocaching, as in politics, the majority can be wrong  Hmm - seems to me that majorities are used to set standards and standards become the 'right way' of doing or saying things, so as one of the majority who has helped to set the standard...

After the Tragedy of 9-11 and the threads that came about during the Tsunami relief efforts last year, we have come to realize that there is too much angst and frustration over which tragedy is chosen over another in the US or worldwide. As a result, we have made it corporate policy not to profile ...

Hi Sally,
GCAAC8 - South Perth Rox, GC5F5A - Kings Cache and in particular GCJJ88 The Kings Park Travel Bug Hotel are three that come to mind. The TB Hotel is a great place for you to leave or pick up travel bugs when you arrive or leave Perth. :D

A minor change to The Toppers Club

For those watching or planning this cache, I have made a minor change to the rules for The Toppers Club (GA0200). The whole idea of this cache is to get a small reward for your personal achievments in the way of a cache - but only where there is no other way. So geographic features with trig points ...

Stats Banners [closed]

The new GCA stats banners are a great addition to the site, but mine only shows 1 cache hidden when I have hidden 3. To me it indicates it is only reading the old team name, since the last 2 hides are under our new team name, while the number of finds is correct. Interestingly as well, after ...

The turning on of GPX downloads is still on I!'s to-do list. Please be patient (with the rest of us) and give them time to do it. So far, it seems that they are doing everything right. :D

Any macro can be set to run when you start GSAK. Go to Tools > Options > > Advanced > Run a macro on startup. For a working macro have a look at the GetMail.txt macro on the macros page of the GSAK website http://gsak.net/Macros.php You will most likely have to modify it, but it's not really ...

A log has appeared on 'An Easy Walk' today (13th) and at this stage, I haven't received an email regarding the log.

As suggested before - it may be due to my name change.

I haven't been receiving them. Is there something in our profiles for this or is it automatic? If it's automatic, it may be related to my having a cacher name change.
