Re: Munzees!
Yep the saturation killed it for me too. Always a problem when you make something competitive, people find easy ways to make it up the leaderboard and to hell with the consequences of it actually being fun for other players. A competitve game needs strong rules, checks and balances to avoid this and...

Re: GeosportZ 2016
You list all 3 for the triathlon in the justification but choose only one GA/GC code to be the one that counts for points. So if you want lots of points use the puzzle and if you want few points use a traditional micro

Re: GeosportZ 2016
Yes I noticed that too. If you are an active cacher wanting to fill lots of slots... you actually need to AVOID the high point event. However, if you don't have the time / numbers around you, then those biggies are going to be very handy. Also, while I'm all chuffed to see new GCA caches being promo...

Re: Pokemon Go
Yep the game engine, data, playfield and mechanics are all from Ingress. Players contributed all the points and basically Pokemon GO is a skin of Ingress. Im sure the two will diverge in the future. (Much like Munzee started as a clone of caching but now is a very different game).

Wanna know what to attack with all those Golbat?! Cool website that lets you pump in what attacks your pokemon has and splits up the pokedex into which ones to hit. Good fun!
Also has DPS so you can see which attacks are actually stronger.

Re: Pokemon Go
My better half is enjoying it even more than me... which is great, as her interest in caching has waned so now there is something to fill the walks between boxes I can get her to come out more often

Re: Should Archived Caches Count in dragonZone?
A good game balance I think, now what you see on the map matches what the score is it will be more intuitive for new players and easier for existing player to keep track.
