Re: Trig? in Jindabyne
It not being a NSW Trig some people will say don't list it as a Trig Point, I on the other hand think it is a trig just not one listed by NSW. We have one in Tassie that isnt a 'real' trig as it was placed by HEC (Hydro Electric Commission) https://geocaching.com.au/cache/tp0831 but it is a metal ma...

Re: Report Site Issues Here
Since everyone is in the same boat maybe we could all just live with losing 10.5 DZ points?2y'stassies wrote:As a result of todays problem we appear to have lost our daily DZ 3.5 points from yesterday so when we visited a few minutes ago we were allocated 0.5 points instead of 3.5.

Re: Dinosaur Moveable Game September 2018
We are off and racing in Tasmania. I notice that any dinosaurs published and released at 12.05 pm this morning do not have any dragon zone points allocated but ones that were published later do? Also I have moved 4 dinosaurs this morning and they do not appear on the ladder as yet. Did the dinosaur...

Re: New phones to have 30cm GPS accuracy in 2018
If anyone thinks that this may no cover all of Australia or be a passing phase, it turns out the Australian government is spending money on base stations to augmentation the new systems (including Galileo) to the tune of $64 million. I have in the past turned my nose up at this sort of 'small' spend...

Re: New phones to have 30cm GPS accuracy in 2018
Have the GCA & GC apps but seldom actually use them. Your comments indicate I'd have to load caches & maps onto my mobile if they were in remote areas so will have to investigate how to do that. I broke my wonderful Magellan 710 & have lost interest in caching as a result. It did everything without...

Re: Senate - Calls for nominations 2018 / 2019
I am also happy to fill the role of Senator again if chosen, this year was my first as a Senator and I have been helping out where I can, I like to think I have put a bit back into the site and the opportunity to do this again would be a pleasure. I have been a cachers for 8 years and started cachin...
