Re: Who can help us with our honeymoon planning?
What we must not forget is that November to April is Cyclone season and the big wet in Northern Australia. If we have a return to normal wet season conditions for this period of time in the next two years or so then Darwin to Cairns would most likely be too wet to travel especially driving and a lot...

Re: Launching Australia's "OZ MEGA ADVENTURE"
Congratulations on this idea. My personal thoughts are you held this too close to your chest for too long and even after NZ showed an interest there was still no hint that easter 2012 was essentially taken. My preference is for NZ as i have attended Australias firs MEGA and would love to atend NZ's ...

Re: Potential NZ MEGA Event 2012 - is there sufficient interest?
Australia has had it first MEGA. I for one would still love to go to New Zealands's first Mega. Preference to attending would be to not go to the Australian event as I went to the first one so if 2012 is still a go even though it would probably have to be near the end of the year then I will be arra...

Re: Australia's next Mega Event launch.
Like wise we also can not wait to see the chosen date. Hopefully the date will conincide with an empty holiday block in our roster as my holiday dates for all of 2011 had to in no later than 30.09.2010. Well can only live in hope.

Re: Potential NZ MEGA Event 2012 - is there sufficient interest?
\:D/ \:D/ At this stage as long as there is plenty of notice of the actual date we will be there. Was only in the South Island last year and now will be able to see the things that time constraints meant we could not get to. As my 2012 holiday blocks have to be lodged no later than the end of June 2...

Re: The Moving Cache Race for 2010/2011
I do not suppose size will matter but we are placing a micro gnome about the size of an eclipse tin and it will have a nano inside as that is the biggest hole I can drill into it without destroying it. How do I know?? Version one and two exploded whilst I was drilling. Too much pressure I suppose bu...

Re: Geocaching Australia Shop - One year on
\:D/ Well done Peter. Looking forward to 2011. If I was perforing a CDE report on you I would run out of paper. On the other hand my 3year old's grandsons Kindy teacher would run out of Gold Stars if he was glueing them on the chart. Enjoy your break and happy Christmas and all the best for 2011 \:D/

Re: The Moving Cache Race for 2010/2011
I can not offer any subjective or relevant suggestions as most of my ideas have been covered by more experienced people than I in regard to tags. I will however be part of the race. My only problem is that I am not able to obtain a suitable candiate locally so will have to wait till I can get to a m...

Re: Is it time? ( to allow cache owners to edit logs)
Sorry I am coming into this discussion so late. I have had one experience with a CO deleting one of my logs. It was on a GC cache and the log was deleted and then the CO sent me an email. An email prior to the deletion would have saved me the time in having to re enter the log as I only needed to de...

Re: GCA Shop Gift Coupons
I like the concept. If it is possible without too much work by C@W to come up with a suitable method of managing such a scheme. The spinoffs for this are that if the "gift Certificate" is used as part of a FTF prize or given to another cacher as a gift ie present then the possibility that the receiv...
