Re: Geocaching Live Software
Yeah, I don't know if you can do it through GSAK (having not ever used that :P) so I just downloaded the PQ straight to my phone and imported it in the Live! program itself. With regards to offline maps, I gave it a try but I only tried a small area. It worked, but I have a generous 3G internet all...

Re: what time do you going caching

I do cache on the weekends but that can be sporadic and dependant upon my daughter, partner and general family responseabilities...... it would be nice to have a job where i "needed to go and see cus...

Re: You know you're a Geocacher when............................
You know your a geocacher when: 1. You log into the GCA forum several times a day at work to cehck the new posts 2. Your plan your evenings around when your caching partners are free..... 3. A good Friday and Saturday night is spent caching to the wee hours of the morning...... 4. Your phone dies an...

Re: Where do you see geocaching in the next 10 years?
As i have been only been caching for less than a year I cant really say what geocaching was like in the "early years" I do see that more and more caches are being placed and cache saturation will certainly become more of an issue as the years roll on.... From the start I have always tried to place m...

Re: Geocaching Live Software
The thing I find annoying about it is that even after I've imported a whole PQ worth of caches to the program, It only imports the co-ordinates and the basic details of each cache, and still relies on being able to connect to the internet to give you listing details. This is not useful when you are...

Re: Geocaching Live Software
Well i have actually had the "accident" with the Renoir and I am currently using a Nokia 6110 navigator until I get the replacement phone. And geocaching Live works perfectly with the 6110, none of the previous issues with the LG. The interface certainly needs to be cleaned up but as jyetara says it...
