There is some talk about shutting down public access to the observation areas at BNE, with all the latest laser pointer hubbub. I hope it doesn't come to that. BNE has "Smithy" GCTEW4, "Looking Up" GCGT1P (listed as a micro but it is a small). There are more in the area, but they aren't quick dashes...

Don't worry too much, GC is currently having some issues. For example, every cache I check is coming back with with coordinates of N/S ? ??.??? W/E ??? ??.???. Earlier the site was unavailable.

No luck yet on getting the new version of the N95, as the shipping date is anticipated to be several weeks yet. I don't have a price yet either

Yeah, you guessed it Normally I avoid the 2x, but I wasn't getting enough of the frame without it. Fortunately by stopping it down to f/8 I was able to keep it fairly sharp.
