Re: Bingo - The moving cache race for 2012/2013

I plan on doing a midnight run. I need to hide one of mine fairly late (as its in a pretty public spot! That's the excuse and I'm sticking to it!) So I may just see..

Also I nearly brought a wheelchair today. If only it wasn't 50 bucks...

Re: You know you're a Geocacher when............................

You get excited that the 1st of December is a Saturday, and you can spend the day chasing as many new movable caches as you can.... Until 2 weeks later, you realized that you have a friends wedding on that day (that you RSVP'd to ages ago) DOH! You still can ! I plan on finding and hiding as many a...

Re: Bingo - The moving cache race for 2012/2013

Sorry but I disagree that the size of the cache is listed as the container that holds the log. It needs to be the size of the entire cache.eg. What if the cache is a car and the log is inside a nano stuck to the car.It gets listed as a nano. So cachers go  looking for a nano and find somethi...

Re: Bingo - The moving cache race for 2012/2013

I was looking through a second hand store today, and saw a wheelchair. I was going to buy it, but one of the wheels was looking like it would break. There was also a wheeley walker thing, which I nearly brought! How much and where? Tiny's green shed at mugga lane tip! There, i said it!

Re: Australian Power Trails

I like the new ACT one, a lot. Nice walk, well prepared and circular back to the car. And it can be ridden on a mountain bike. Wrong, oh so wrong. (Ah, I see you haven't done them yet) A mountain bike in there would be a hindrance. There is so much cross country, its easier to walk the whole lot - ...

Transport related you say?

Oh dear. I was planning on making a cache on GC, but looks like i'll get to test it out on GCA!
It'll be more funny as a moveable anyway.

Oh no i've said too much.

Re: R U OK - Depression & Geocaching.

Congratulations Sue, you are amazing for having the courage to post something like this, i'd never have the guts to do so! I've been battling depression, for about..5 years now. Being able to just escape to the great outdoors, and go for a walk, has done wonders. :) Just reading some of my older log...

Re: How many found in between home and your nearest unfound.

...Nearest unfound is 650m away (A crappy poor maintained multi. Ahem.) There's two in between that distance!! (Which is kinda disturbing, but hey, i love cache density) My nearest unfound is now 880m away (because SOMEONE published a puzzle almost a week ago!) ...which would most likely not be my ...

Re: You know you're a Geocacher when............................

There is a cache outside your work (Not placed by me! That's the funny part!) You have no issue with sitting a couple of metres away from GZ, to eat your lunch, spotting cachers trying to find it, then see if they try to outwait what they think is a muggle.. (I have been successful both ti...
