Location, location, location I have to agree and/or if there is a history behind the area. One that comes to mind is called "Dragons Lair" by Albyalbatross&wendy where we disturbed hundreds of bats in the tunnel and they where flying all around us. Also they was some history behind the area and the...

I think it a good idea to log DNF. It lets the ower know if there is a problem with the cache and also a good source of information for other finders. Once I used a DNF log to find a cache. The log let me know not to look in that place. So all DNF have to be bad. On a resent trip down to Brisbane I ...

The way I did it was to open the index page in IE and click on the iSilox button in IE. Told iSilox to go 5 deep, not to grab off site pages and to stay within the directory. Took about 10 sec to do about 300 pages.

I had the same problem and reported this to i! a while back in other post. The only way I could fix it was to change the resolution of the screen to a higher one.

I think you should maybe change that so people can not log a gc.com cache on this site. It will just makes it messy and hard to follow. Also no matter how many times you tell people you will get someone doing it.

It works well but one minute the cachers name is in the right colunm then in the left which I found hard to read. I couple times I throught the cachers name was a cache. Maybe put the cacher on the left and the cache on the right and just change the direction of the arrow.

To give everyone a little background. The laptop battery is dead. The only way I can power it is by the mains. So I rang the Bronze to see if an inverter would work and what size would I need. He told me a 150W and NOT to get a square wave. So off I go to DSE only to find out they are all modified s...

yes you can. I use a program called GPilots on my palm (also a M500) to upload and dowload waypoints, routes and tracks from my etrex. It's a good program as you can place waypoints into different categories eg people, caches etc. I have a number of routes in the program as the etrex can only one a...

Indeed, geocaching has been one of the best tour guides Ed Hall has ever consulted. "People tend to put caches in beautiful places that they've visited," he said. "My boys and I geocache when traveling, and locals have directed us to some of the most beautiful spots around the country that we never...
