Re: Geocacher banned on unfair terms (IMO anyway)
As an aside, when did it become the general consensus that a box hidden in the bush under a handful of twigs was an unworthy cache? I have seen this comment on a few threads here and don't understand the mentality behind it to be honest. Some cachers are incapable of solving the difficulty 5 cryptog...

Re: Report GCA Site issues here
I followed the links from wiki to go to date range page I'm trying to get th ranges to set up PQ for queensland. When I clicked the link I got this: GC Caches by Hidden Date Range Download as xml Please note that caches which have been recently archived may still be accumulated in the list of counte...

Re: Report GCA Site issues here
Hello,
I'm trying to use the date range function to load pocket queries for Queensland caches but the date ranges link seems to be broken, I'm seeing a lot of code errors and parsing errors on the page.
Any idea if its me or the site?

Re: Android phones for geocaching
until my garmin oregon 450T that I got for last Christmas I used an Iphone with geosphere as my only caching gpdr for about 18 months, found 300 caches with it and placed 5 I think with no accuracy complaints.

Re: Opencaching: Whats the use?
the short answer is "no I can't" There is one open source cache in Tasmania, which shows as being on private property and is not actually there. As such its a total waste of time and effort. Here is the link to the tasmanian thread on this topic http://forum.geocaching.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=162...

Re: Multiple Logs on Caches
I agree with regards locationless caches, but I think multiple finds on a moveable cache is fair enough. Each time you find it its somewhere new so its not revisiting a hide. I have also heard the argument "yes but you know what you are looking for" so what? how many 500ml sistemas are out in the wo...
