Re: Locationless caches
Geocaching.com had locationless caches well before they started appearing on geocaching.com.au. GC spun off their locationless caches to waymarking.com a few years ago. IMHO locationless caches should stay as they currently are at GCA. It's a long drive from home to the nearest physical GCA cache. ...

Re: Clan Phoenix Chat
It's time we got our skating shoes on and got some more points before those Cerberus clan sail right past us. At the moment, it's neck and neck depending on when the hides and finds are logged on each side. If you need a hand to solve some puzzles for some good points, contact one of our clan who'v...

A GMAP of the result of a basic query (all events in Vic) doesn't show up any pins. Chrome on Win8.1. Waited 5 mins.
Otherwise the speed increase is fabulastic. Thanks for all your tiring work.

Re: Souvenirs
Perhaps GC could make a souvie for every day of the year. Everyone will soon get sick of them and GC can then stop wasting time on worthless crap and start fixing all the problems people are complaining about.
Wishful thinking

My mistake. I looked at the lower case version of your username, not the correct UPPER case version.WazzaAndWenches wrote:Your profile shows you own no caches at either GC or GCA.

Your profile shows you own no caches at either GC or GCA. Is the cache one you've logged as found? If so, which one?

I don't use that macro Robyn but try holding down the shift key when you run the macro. A lot of macros will pop up an option box.

Re: Is this actually a trig point?
I'm certainly no expert but, IMHO...
It's in a (semi) remote location.
It took a bit of work to get to it.
It looks vaguely like a traditional trig point.
It's listed as a marker.
Therefore, in the spirit of Geocaching Australia's "you make the rules", it's a trig point.

Re: Your First Cache
I read something about a strange hobby called geocaching some weeks prior to our first find in early '07. It was about 30km from Echuca (home) and on a road very close to where I used to go rabbiting. Anyway, I bundled the Wench and Wenchette into the car and we drove out to the area of the cache. I...

I'm not playing for a sheep station, or for a pathtag for that matter, so wherever we finish on the ladder is unimportant to us. We're just enjoying the fun it's added to our regular geocaching.
