Re: Android Geocaching Apps
The Apps I have found useful for Geocaching on my Garmin Asus A50 are: WhereYouGo - A great app that allows you to do Where I Go caches. The official Geocaching.com app GeoHunter - Actually use this one for multi's as it easy to edit the location of the waypoint to the next one. Hintdecoder Code Tab...

Re: Launching Australia's "OZ MEGA ADVENTURE"
We intend to come at this stage (2xadults) although we will possibly be living in another state by then and have no idea what leave at a new work will be available. Being self contained in a van we will have by then and gypsies at heart, we have no problems shifting campgrounds at a drop of a hat an...

Re: Garmin Asus10 and Asus50 Phones.
Just used the A50 recently for doing some Where I Go caches using the free 'WhereYouGo' and worked perfectly.
The Oregon 300 was actually playing up a bit out in the forest last weekend with the pointer going all over the place. We actually had greater accuracy and stability the A50 phone.

Re: Garmin Asus10 and Asus50 Phones.
We have an A50. Using yesterday with the Geocaching.com app in conjunction with an Oregon 300 for a few caches, we were having near identical readings for distance from the cache. The compass rose was pretty stable as well. Plus sides inlude the ability to store the GPX files from our pocket queries...

Re: From Publish to Log ! - an FTF record?
Here's the log entry from the FTF from one of the caches we hid:
"was only 1km away from this cache when the notification came through on my phone at 1424. I then had the cache in hand by 1432.
Nice hide, had me going for a minute or two."

Which car GPSs display caches on the maps?
We are looking for an in car GPS for general navigating around to caches instead of using our Garmin Legend or Oregon 300. What we do like on those however, is the display of geocaches on the map as we drive along or zoom out. I have heard of some in car GPSs where you download geocaches as POIs and...
