Re: Report GCA Site issues here
I think the SA feed might need a nudge as well as it appears to have stalled.

Re: Cacheberry Pi
I have got a Raspberry Pi sitting on my desk, but at the moment it will probably become a small util server for home that will serve up weather data, that is unless they manage to get android running on it before I get around to that project.

As Skippy said, talk to Jim and he should be able to help you out with what you are after.

Re: GCA Server Relocation - Tuesday 25 Sep 2012 (9:00pm)
If it was going to be 666 days I would smell a conspiracy and think that GC.com had bought up a huge amount of rack space in the DC in order to try and squeeze GCA out.

Re: The Uluru Project
Just got back from there and can say that Yulara isn't cheap, but it is your only option. You can get rooms off the net for much cheaper than what they put as their standard prices. Camping is cheap enough there if you are by yourself at $20pp for an unpowered site. A serviced appartment can be had ...

Perfect timing for me, as we needed 24 of them and it was a very expensive prospect without this special.

Re: Report GCA Site issues here
For the past few days, I haven't received my daily GCA email. I've tried looking around the site to see if I accidentally changed my options, but I can't even find where I enabled this option now  . Is there a problem with the emails or have I done something strange? Apr 7 05:00:36 gcaws post...

Re: OZ MEGA ALBURY WODONGA
Is it possible to swap powered site with another person, atm I'm on site 40 and would like to be closer to my buddies. anywhere between 3 and 23 would be great. Thanks You should also add a note that anyone in sites 3 to 23 should also bring ear plugs to drown out the snoring if you move....

Re: Oregon 300 POI File still in memory??
Yep I've had a few very old POI's get stuck in there that I haven't managed to get rid of. I'd love to get rid of them as every now and again we go somewhere and get stuck on trying to figure out what the WP is associated with, but then realise it's one of these pesky ones.

Re: Oregon Question
The way to get around it is to plug your Oregon in to the computer, delete the GPX file, un plug and boot up the Oregon. Once fully loaded plug back in to the computer and transfer the new GPX file. It is a problem that Garmin have acknowledged, but never really fixed! If you check the GSAK forum yo...

Re: new GCA android app
I think it is more expensive to make an iOS app... Hopefully someone can correct me if i'm wrong... :) It costs nothing to develop a program (except for a lot of time and dedication) but to distribute it (which is really the whole reason that you would develop an app!) you need to sign up to the io...

Re: Suggestion for Cachers Graphs.
Advanced PC2 PC3200 DDR2 ECC 400MHz SDRAM DIMM Memory There are 6 (occupied) slots with 2 x 1GB and 4 x 512MB. I "think" they need to be in pairs. Hmm ok might not quite suit then. Just checked and there are 3 x 2gb fully buffered pc2 5300 sticks. Yours if you can use them for gca, but not sure if ...
