Re: New Browser - Google Chrome
............... straight away I can block ad's, re-render a page in IE (for those lazy developers that won't make muli platform pages), and as with any other browser it will pull all my bookmarks across. How do you get it to re-render in IE? I have a couple of sites that displays differently in chr...

Re: New Browser - Google Chrome
Dragging up a slightly old thread, but since a new one would just be named the same, why not continue what we already have. Am considering the move to Chrome after their latest release, and have just grabbed it and loaded it up. So far its quick (I use firefox and am happy enough with the speed of i...

Updates to Greasemonkey scripts
Since the latest releases of GC have broken a lot of the functionality that people have gained from Greasemonkey, there is now updated versions of the scripts available, though some have not been updated, some continue to work, and some others have been retired and have been taken on by Groundspeak ...

Re: Report GCA Site issues here
On the cachers centroids maps is there a need for the check boxes for proximity, hide my finds, and hide my caches, or is it a matter that if they are turned on for one set of maps, they are on for all?
Just seems rather redundant having the boxes there when they aren't applicable to that map/graph.

Re: iPhone Geocaching App V2.3
Just a heads up that 3.01 has now been released.
The apparent fixes are faster maps, fixed problems with zoom, and music still plays when you are using the app when in an I-pod.

Re: Travelling to the moon.
It looks like Maccamob have made it there!

I guess now we need to the moon and back graph
As for me, well I'm about a third of the way there.

Cartographics at Unley is the obvious pointer for me, but if Alex isn't open over the break, then I think I remember seeing anaconda having a basic Garmin Etrex out on special at the moment, and I know that JB hifi have them as well.

Re: What cache did I find?
At one stage (not sure if it's still the case at the moment) there were 3 containers acting as the one cache at Cradle Mountain in Tassie. Some people complained that the cache was badly in need of care, others said that the cache was in good nick, and one person replaced the cache as they thought i...

Re: Information package for the police
Just found which cache it is, and if the people across the road enough time on their hands to sit and watch people come and go in a very busy car park, then they mustn't have a very exciting life, as thousands of people would go through that place every week. At the end of the day nothing dodgy is h...

Re: Good Swaps vs Bad Swaps
Unfortunately we seem to have the issue here where the cache container just isn't big enough (or sometimes strong enough ](*,) ) to hold any swaps. Quite often recently we will arrive at a cache to find that it doesn't have a proper log book, let alone any swaps. It would be good to see the 'Trade u...

Re: Sighting of the Google Streetview car - Canberra
They are doing all of the imagery again at the moment. The camera they are using this time will provide even higher resolution images, but at the same time allow the algorithm that they use for blurring out faces/number plates to work even better. Results are expected to be out around the middle of ...
