Re: Do you appreciate people correcting typos in your listing?
Typos in the location of the cache also bug me, especially when the hider just posts a note to say that they are wrong, but doesn't bother to actually change the listing. ](*,) Yup. That, I think was one of only two needs maintenance logs that I've ever ignored on my caches (the other being one beca...

Re: Do you appreciate people correcting typos in your listing?
I usually try and make sure that what I type is correct (and sometimes miss the mark by not checking close enough), and know that if Anja doesn't pick up on it in a cache listing, then Mrs Wibble or Nomad soon will! :D I do agree with Winterdragon about the funniest log for a spelling mistake , and ...

You want to see a flame war? Go to the groundspeak forum and start a thread saying you think people shouldn't carry guns while caching! :-" I following a couple of hiking forums in the US and the flame wars that go on over guns is just beyond belief. Trust me this place is very civil compared to ot...

Re: Adelaide
It all depends on your method of transport, if you want quality or quantity, where you are staying, how far you are prepared to travel, if you want to go anywhere in particular, if you have solved some of the puzzles (there are a lot of puzzles here!), and what terrain rating you are prepared to go ...

If you are quick enough to notice 1.26 microseconds, then yes the day is shorter, but for 99.99999% of people I would say that life continues on as normal.

Yep I know about the locationless, and the odd physical GCA caches, but sadly there isn't anything like what the Vic's or Tasmanian's have!

You might want to read this blog entry http://geocaching.com.au/cacher/blog/caughtatwork/122 and refer to this wiki entry http://wiki.geocaching.com.au/wiki/GCA_rewards We need more GCA caches in SA! Though I guess that Trig points would count, so that would be the way that a lot of South Aussies w...

Yeah I suppose I can but with 450 of the little buggers I though that script might be easier > just place the drive in then RUN can this be done in a script ? Hmm let me guess what they are going to be used for. :-k Taken long enough for it to happen! Knowing exactly what they will be used for, you...

I like the other solution though, that is to hide a bigger cache.Funky G.O. wrote:I want to hide another one but it will be too small for a small note book (even if i cut it down), i was wondering if anyone had a copy/pic of a log sheet that can be folded up small.

Re: From Publish to Log ! - an FTF record?
I know that AdrianMc was at the local shops one night, and got the notification through as he was at the checkout.
Turns out that the cache was right behind the shops and he had the FTF in 5 minutes or less.

Re: New Browser - Google Chrome
Have bit the bullet in the end and have decided to shift all of the RSS feeds over to Google Reader, and using the Google Notifier extension to let me know when something new has come in. Will allow me to save some time only flicking through each feed once, rather than the way that I was doing it, a...
