Re: Australian Power Trails

Do our 'In Extremis' caches count as a series? Either that or it's a mean (not so)power trail. Has anyone done it in a single trip? I've done a few at a time but never more than 2 or 3 I think. I think five in a trip is the record, hit by several teams. It is normal Hume, Federal, Kings, Captains F...

Re: Scouting Cachers

With The Great Scouts Australia Geocaching Competition almost here, and having offered myself as an Ambassador, I am going to try running a day to introduce scouts to the sport. If anyone is interested and available on Sat 23rd March to give me a hand at Oatley Park, please let me know. I'm also co...

Re: Two million caches

I tried looking at that graphic this morning. The colours are horrible, and it is almost impossible to read! (Unless there is an issue with my monitor!)

I've had a phone call from Big Matt and he is going to walk me through this.

Another GSAK question

Newbie alert! I just imported the 'my finds' gpx files of two other cachers, so that I can then create a filter to show caches in a certain location that none of us have found. This worked a treat. But, and this is a big but... In the process my GSAK database now thinks that I have found all of the ...

Re: GSAK Question

Under Search/Filter/Logs by my reading I can only filter if FOUND by USERNAME, it won't search for caches not logged.

GSAK Question

I am still a relative newbie to using GSAK. Can someone point me in the right direction to find a macro that will allow me to search for caches that I have found (I know how to do this) that are within X km of home (I know how to do this) and have not been logged by USERNAME (I do not know how to do...

Re: Scouting Cachers

Hey Hoojar, I agree re the GPS/phone options, but have been fairly reliably informed we are going via the coastal run, with a likely tea stop about Taree. We are leaving Sydney @ 4pm on the 31st. Ian Surely we will go the New England, have you been reading about the traffic delays on the Pacific in...

Re: Scouting Cachers

We were finally given our departure time yesterday (1530 31/12/12)... But apparently we will not know our route until we get on the bus. For someone that *hates* caching on a smart phone, this is terrible! Do I upload caches for potential meal breaks on the Pacific, New England, or Newell Highways!!??

Re: Scouting Cachers

I wonder if any local cachers will place more caches for us to find in Maryborough :D The map still looks like all the nearby caches could be found on a walk on my day-off. I'm starting to eye off some of the more far-flung caches and wondering just how hot it will be to go for a run!
