Re: Garmin Asus A50 - Software

These look like they might be good for those of us that seem to scratch their screens just by loking at them.

Re: Garmin Asus A50 pre paid

Phone Cover
Iam using my old IPhone cover for mine and it works fine.
It has a hard back with two rails that grip the side of the unit with a flip cover. Camera hole is in the wrong place but the screen is nice and protected.

Garmin Asus A50 - Software

About time for a post from the Parrot as I have had one of these for 2 days. Haven't found a cache with it yet but Iam having great fun playing with it. Used it as a GPS to get to work on first day. Works exactly the same as my Nuvi. Traffic report in Adelaide wasnt much use as it was only showing e...

Re: Controversy - Who's responsible?

I think a lot of damage is done by people leaving the cache once it is found. People will take different approaches to get to a cache but once found the path of least resistance is often used to get out. Thus trails appear not from searching but leaving when the area no longer is of interest to the ...

Re: How far would YOU travel for a FTF?

The Parrot left from Adelaide and travelled to Birdsville and picked up a FTF on Big Red (Eastern Gateway to the Simpson Desert) http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=756583bd-3b0b-4b80-a3de-1e1219198d00 That was a round trip of 2786.18 Kilometres. http://img.geocaching.com/track/lo...

Re: Cache maintennance etiquette

I totally agree with pprass and Richary. I lost count a long time ago of the number of caches I have replaced in rural areas (but dont worry mundoo if I know the owner lives close by I would let them know). I will e-mail the owner and offer to post them their Logbook and if I dont receive a response...

Re: 'Theft' of trackables - it's getting ridiculous.

Ahhh Germany.. I had a TB that made it 3/4 of the way around the world and then it went to Germany. It was called "Following the Equator" and had clocked up 36400 Kms. Picked up by a newbie cacher in Germany and I very much doubt put out again. A very friendly cacher in Switzerland contacted them as...

Within 40 km radius (336 unfound). Within 50 km radius (411 unfound). There seems to have been a King tide in Septe...

It's about 40 degrees and you are walking through long grass in a park and poking about in shady holes in tree stumps.
