What sort of stuff would you like contributions to be about.
Same as the last (first?) couple or are you looking for something different.
Poetry, fiction, non-fiction?

Have a look at ebay for a new battery.
I could have had mine repacked for the same price as I bought a brand new one on ebay, so I chose a new one.

Small glitch this morning, from my own stats:

Caches Logged
178 found (approx)

Caches Found: 0

Looks like there are no caches found for anyone.

One other thought.
Will you be putting the location next to the recommendations on the cachers home page?
Then we can get a good idea on which area (or state) they are in.

Just a thought.

Can you recommend an archived cache? Should you?

I agree that when taking the cache description and all of the logs (not necessarily just the log for the cacher who did the recommendation) into account you get a much better opinion about what the cache is all about. This comes into play if you're on a trip and need to find recommended caches to pl...

This is interesting ideaology. On the cache Panorama Cache you have provided a Recommendation (I appreciate that you may have randomly assigned the recommendation, but for today, let's assume you actually meant to put it there). When I go to read you log, I find nothing in your log that allows me to...

I just did the import.

I got 4 'confused' caches and ticked the appropriate radio buttons and everything seemed to go just fine.

I am 4 short which I believe are locationless, so I understand these.

Very quick and simple process. Well done.

Sorry to be bah humbug boy, but I conceive a potential concern. What if you are a fan of hiking and assign your top ten to all hiking caches? In order for me to determine what you are a fan of, I need to read your logs. The same may (I say may) go for someone who loves puzzle caches. I need to work ...

geocaching.com.au links from personal websites [closed]

Hi guys. I know you don't mind us linking to the Australian site from our personal sites. The more links the higher the page ranking and all that. Can we load the Oz logo onto our own server and use it as a link and if so which image would you prefer we use, the one at the top of the forum or the ne...

Your comments are very valid Mind Socket . I suppose I've looked at a number of caches and there have been some that have comments like 'best ever cache' and 'this makes my top ten' while my opinion is 'eh'. One score of 10 and one score of 1 would still average out at 5.5 which would make it, um, a...

Just a thought to have. What if there were two types of votes? Experienced and Newbie. Up to a certain number of caches and your vote gets counted towards the newbie rating. After that your votes start counting towards the experienced rating. Then each cache would have two ratings. One from experien...

The statistical danger is that if everyone was forced (or felt obligated) to leave a rating, over time you would end up with most caches being rated a 5 (on a scale of 1-10). Assuming that some people will like and some won't (for avrious reasons) the end result would be average. This wouldn't provi...
