Not allowed. Disabled until it can be replaced with a physical container or it will end up archived.

Re: Locationless search bar

Not on the locationless page itself. The List Pages do not have a search capability.

The Find Page https://geocaching.com.au/find/geocache is where you can use a name or other criteria to search. I have added a specific find box for locationless geocaches.

Search for a Geocache

There is no order. It comes out of the database in any way it decides.

Re: Toolbox suggestions

Do you have an example?

All we can really do is include the finger spellings. We can't automate the solution as we can't read the images to see what they are. You could use it to create the cipher, but not to decipher.

Service Disruption 21-Jul-2020

There is some upcoming Power Maintenance Works at MDC scheduled for next Tuesday 21-Jul-2020 between 7:00pm and 8:00pm AEST. The critical upgrade is to the electrical infrastructure at MDC in order to provide more power availability within the data centre. While we have dual hot PSUs, we are connect...

Re: how do i delete a cache

You can't change the cache type on a TrigPoint. As CR says, go to log a NEW log and select ARCHIVED.

Re: Trouble with the map

That's all Google Maps. I tried to do the same and it works for me so it could be a transient issue at the Google Map server end when it can't servce the image tiles.

Re: Report Site Issues Here

This morning's Daily Email includes a large number of new caches in the Mildura area. Part way through the list the hyperlinks to GCA and "other site" for all remaining caches in the email have ceased being hyperlinks and have reverted to simple text. (Not that I really care about checking out a fe...

Re: Report Site Issues Here

Thanks for that. It seems that the type has changed from "Lost and Found Event Cache" to "Lost and Found Event Caches". So we now handle both with and without a trailing s.

I thought you could only add the stickers to dragon zone caches. One is a virtual and one is a locationless?
You can add a sticker to any Geocaching Australia geocache, live, archived, any type at all. The only dZ involvement is what you trade to get them.

Re: What's new on Geocaching Australia

Thanks for the reports. With that information I have been able to make a fix so that shouldn't happen again. I've dropped the duplicates as well. BTW, just like a really good sticker, you can't peel it off and reuse it, they are permanent. You can add more than one sticker to a geocache. Others can ...

Yeah, not sure why that has happened. I've dropped one off. If this happens again, please let me know.
