Excellent. Thank you C@W and CR.
It's long past time you two knocked off for the night. I'm sure you've earned it.

Re: Report Site Issues Here

A GMAP of the result of a basic query (all events in Vic) doesn't show up any pins. Chrome on Win8.1. Waited 5 mins.
Otherwise the speed increase is fabulastic. Thanks for all your tiring work.

Re: Souvenirs

Perhaps GC could make a souvie for every day of the year. Everyone will soon get sick of them and GC can then stop wasting time on worthless crap and start fixing all the problems people are complaining about.

Wishful thinking ](*,)

My mistake. I looked at the lower case version of your username, not the correct UPPER case version. ](*,)

Re: How do I remove/delete my cache?

Your profile shows you own no caches at either GC or GCA. Is the cache one you've logged as found? If so, which one?

Re: GCA refresh Macro

I don't use that macro Robyn but try holding down the shift key when you run the macro. A lot of macros will pop up an option box.

Re: Is this actually a trig point?

I'm certainly no expert but, IMHO...
It's in a (semi) remote location.
It took a bit of work to get to it.
It looks vaguely like a traditional trig point.
It's listed as a marker.

Therefore, in the spirit of Geocaching Australia's "you make the rules", it's a trig point.

Re: Your First Cache

I read something about a strange hobby called geocaching some weeks prior to our first find in early '07. It was about 30km from Echuca (home) and on a road very close to where I used to go rabbiting. Anyway, I bundled the Wench and Wenchette into the car and we drove out to the area of the cache. I...

I'm not playing for a sheep station, or for a pathtag for that matter, so wherever we finish on the ladder is unimportant to us. We're just enjoying the fun it's added to our regular geocaching. :D

Re: Question - GPS - car vs handheld vs phone app

I haven't used in-car gps because I have had three different in-car units over the years (not for caching) and could see they just wouldn't cut it. I have only used Garmin (60 followed by a 62). I've been very happy with both and the zoom is plenty good enough. I have played around with the official...
