Re: Have you ICEM?
I'll be in Seymour in a couple of days with plans of finding at least one of the new caches recently published. I will also find a suitable spot for a Seymour ICEM cache if no one else puts their hand up in the meantime.

Re: Report Site Issues Here
Is there a problem with the daily update email not being sent or is it just me that's not receiving it? I've received it almost every day for a number of years. Haven't changed anything recently (site or mail server) yet haven't received the emails for a few days. Nothing changed, no issues as far ...

Re: Senate - Calls for nominations 2018 / 2019
I'm happy to stick my hand up again for a second year. I've been waiting for someone else from Victoria to throw their hat in the ring but it hasn't happened and time is running out. It's important the Victoria is represented on the Senate. Whilst I may not have a lot of time to give, I do check the...

Re: Report dragonZone issues / problems here
I checked my DZ trophies today and found a new one had been awarded...Glug, Glug (find a cache below sea level). Gold. Now I'm confused. An import of all my GCA finds into GSAK and an update of elevations does not show any caches below sea level except locationless ones. The only caches I've logged ...

Re: Geocache Found In Incorrect Place
G'day Pesky Possum.
The cache owner is Robmc. You can find contact details here https://geocaching.com.au/cacher/Robmc
It's probably best to contact him through his GC profile because he's not a frequent user of this listing site.

Re: Report Site Issues Here
A web site issue or a Daily Email issue? I noticed this morning's (Vic) email listed a few new geocaches in the northern suburbs of Melbourne. Some were listed as being in South Morang and some in Morang South. Where is the locality name sourced from? A simple fix or a time consuming task? https://d...

Re: ack son of hack cache
If it's definately on private property and the landowner hasn't agreed to having cachers wandering on their property then, unfortunately, it should be archived. A shame to lose such an old cache.
Log a "Needs Archiving" against it. It will be reviewed and assigned to the big GZ in the sky.

Re: Time to approve a GCA account
I approved their account a few minutes ago. I didn't see their application in the list over the last few days, though.
That said, there are often up to 30 newies whenever I check, and I usually check and approve/reject 2-3 times per day.

Re: Icons I see on my Garmin
Do you use GSAK? If you do, you can upload caches from GSAK to your garmin after having set the cache icon to something that means more to you than a treasure chest or GC-style icon. I've created a new cache in GSAK with coordinates of my home and an icon of GC headquarters. It's very easy to spot i...

Not sure if it's a bug or a mysterious technology thingy... I found Geo-Jas's reverse cache (GA6859) back in January @ C@W Docklands Cache Chase Event but the trophy (first reverse cache find) hasn't been awarded. Log = http://geocaching.com.au/log/15084492

Looks like it's drifted again....CraigRat wrote:I'll check the actual server time, it may have drifted. Thanks for the report
A post by C@W was published at 10:01 going by the server time. I noticed it at 9:46, 15mins earlier. Pity Tatts numbers didn't work the same way.
