Maybe CN2010 MM. It should be out soon I would think. Dooghan I thought that the 400T (and supposedly 550T) came with Garmin Topo Australia, not CNA. Surely they wouldn't update that software yearly like CNA. mm Your right about the T model. The maps haven't been out that long for an...

I'm a bit disappointed with Garmin Basecamp. With Topo Aus it is a 2 gig install that has to run off the C drive and having seen it run on more than one computer it seems to slow the system markedly. With 1TB drive cheap now days a 2gig install is nothing. All my maps for Ozi take like 10x more roo...

I would try OSM maps. It looks like the coverage in the UK is pretty good. Just do a Google search and you will find free maps ready to go on your Garmin. Here is one for you http://garmin.na1400.info/routable.php

Finally got around to sitting down and trying this. Something not good. The end result was: There is a problem with the MapSource installation. Please re-install MapSource and start it again. I've reinstalled, but still get the same error. In the end I had to delete the addition to the registry. No...

not sure on your GPS but you can (on the 60csx at least) set this level to whatever you like... on the open road I set mine to 5km (all caches within 5k show), in built up areas I set it to 800m or less in urban areas..... I've got a 60SCx also. I had my map points set to low. I didn't know how to ...

Over Xmas I loaded a couple of thousand of Brisbane caches as POI (points of interest). I used GSAK to export them to the POI directory on the SD card. I didn't really like it as I couldn't see the caches on the screen until I got down to the 120m zoom level. Just made it hard to see other near by c...

1. Maybe the placer typed a wrong number. I've done that. 2. Maybe there wasn't a good spread of sats across the sky. If there are all bunch together in one part of the sky you may not get accurate coordinates. 3. Maybe the placer was using an old GPS. One that is not as sensitive as today's GPS's 4...
