Re: Happy B'day GCA (online event)
Do you have a link to the hangout or name of the conversation we will be joining? If I was just broadcasting like a podcast on YouTube and no one could join in, I'd have a link, etc. But this is for all to join in. Therefore I will need to invite you all into the conversation. I also tested Hangout...

Happy B'day GCA (online event)
Hi all. I am hosting an online event through Google Hangouts on March 28th. https://geocaching.com.au/cache/ga14515 Any Geocaching Australia members can attend, and potential members too. I'd like to hear your suggestions on things we can possibly discuss during the event. Every idea is welcome, but...

Re: 2020 Game of Games
Have you been reading draft caches here? Or is it just a case of great minds thinking alike? I have finally tested Hangouts with MattyRx and we are good to go. Event published. geocaching.com.au/cache/ga14515 can be found in the geographical centre of Australia, in the Northern Territory. Please go ...

Re: Why no caches in Coonabarabran
Simple answer is, there are no cachers there to hide them.
When I lived in Dubbo, according to a groundspeak reviewer I wasn't allowed to hide them in Gilgandra which was only just up the road without evidence of someone living closer to maintain it.

Re: dragonZone Research Tasks
Hi. I'm just wondering what is 'Icon Hat' and 'Icon Facade' in the Deploy section of My dragonZone?
...never mind. I figured it out.

Re: Reward for recovery of Aus "Project Ape" Cache containers
Well we believe we know where the original container for GC3E Lane Cove (Australia's first cache) is, it turns out the ranger that removed it held on to the container and moved up to near Port Macquarie when he retired. We (as in Geocaching NSW) held an event up there earlier this year and he saw t...

I'm not sure if this is a new thing or I've just never noticed it before, but what is 'Icon Hat' and 'Icon Facade' in the Deploy section of My dragonZone?

Re: Norfolk Island
I have emailed about GA3138, with a photograph. I found the last Norfolk Island GC cache yesterday and then logged the Challenge cache for finding them all. There were 56, including a CITO. Well done! =D> I'd be asking Endeavour what state they associate with if they have to. They are technically t...

Re: Report Site Issues Here
It has been slow for the last couple of days for us. Talking to several cachers earlier today and they all have the same problem. Only happening with the GCA site. Haha. I couldn't get into the forum to ask or see what was up for those few days. Had to keep refreshing most of the day/s to get the d...

Re: Report dragonZone issues / problems here
I don't think everyone is getting 70 points though. I spoke with someone about it and they only got 10. Still more than usual.

Re: Report dragonZone issues / problems here
Thank you. That explains both.
BTW, thanks for the 70 points over the last couple of days. Who doesn't love a surprise like that.
