UTM......Absolutely no use to me whatsoever. Why would anyone want to use that when the world revolves around dd mm.sss caching? :? We used to use UTM all the time in the Good Old Days(tm), i.e. in the days before GPSrs had maps on them. We noticed that the Sydways street directory had numbers on t...

Re: For the pedants amongst us ...

I personally hope that the spelling mistakes are there for a reason, and that riblit queried them before publishing. I would hope the reviewers are kind enough to point out obvious errors. Without knowing the area very well at all (have driven through it) I have no idea if the typos may be signific...

Re: For the pedants amongst us ...

Have a look at this recently published cache - GC27GCV. Cringe. I was going to add a note to it suggesting in future they use a spell checker, pay more attention at school & have someone responsible proof read the description but made a cup of tea instead & added the cache to my Ignore List. from wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pedant Pedantry can also be an indication of certain developmental disorders. In particular those with high-functioning autism, often use pedantic speech. I came across a great blog post for those of us that need to count to ten and resist the urge to correct bad spelling and grammar when encountered on the interweb or via social media

I'm not sure how the numbers are calculated in the graph :? I started geocaching on 25/10/2003 (registered on GC on 21/10/2003) so today it's 2546 days since I found my first cache. The graph say 1728 days Even more curious since I'm c@w's geo-grandfather  ... yet according to the graph he ha...
