Re: Puzzle caches

What types of caches are crosswords currently turned on for?
And the next question. Is it worth me saving the puzzle hides me to score points for a summer game 8-[

Re: Puzzle caches

A pascode is effectively the same thing I guess. Would.it be a user generated passcode or like the history cache of random generated passcode. Effectively I had a series I wanted to create that revolved around short simple puzzles but I felt restricted with the answers needing to be coords. I may be...

Puzzle caches

Is there a way to have a puzzle cache where the answer is not a set of coordinates but just a simple word and by inputting that word somewhere you get rewarded with the coordinates of the cache.
If this is not a GCA doable thing does anyone know if it's doable elsewhere with 'the other site'

Re: Alternative Co-ordinates

it does makes sense. tink a checkbox to allow the user to change would be good.
would you go along the line of having a tick box on each cache, or would it be a bulk map tick box all or nothing style?

Re: Alternative Co-ordinates

is there a scenario where i wouls want the alternative coords to remain after i found a cache. yes. if the more relevant plave to look back on is the alternative coordinate then i would prefer it to stay there. i would only really want it returned to its original location after i found it if it was ...

Re: Alternative Co-ordinates

so the alternative coords would only be visible to me. i would want the alternative coords shown on my map so i knew where i needed to go if i was passing by a specific area so i would know if i was close or not really. after i find the cache and logged a find then i am in 2 minds. a mystery for exa...

Re: Advanced editor on mobile

I use a Samsung Galaxy s7 and I do think get anything. Zero option at all and things I do put is like paragraph spaces don't get included in the final product. I did try waiting as the wiki suggested but didn't seem to do anything.

Re: Locationless caches that aren't a locationless type

Apologies if I'm speaking gibberish. I think what I am ultimately asking is there a easy place to look for locationless caches that aren't locationless that every can see. If not can one be added? Or could they possibly be included in the locationless tab in the find a cache zone. As I would like to...

Re: Locationless caches that aren't a locationless type

Are not most locationless caches listed at 0.0 that seems to be the default location for them and when I search for nearby gca caches it shows all the locationless caches plus a few others. A podcache I published. The q and a event and some virtuals

Advanced editor on mobile

Does the advanced editor work on mobiles when listing a cache or do you need to be on a computer to make that work. I barely touch a computer these days and all the caches I publish don't look great without the minor editing. Thank you

Locationless caches that aren't a locationless type

Just wondering is there an easier way for the masses to see a cache that is in a locationless location but is not a locationless type cache. For example a virtual, an event or a podcache. So far the only way I can see is typing in the 0000 00000 coords but people don't track these and caches listed ...

That list is quite impressive. One really noticeable one is the photos now the right way round after the new server went in. Make all my locationless logs look so much neater. Love it

Re: A winter dragonZone game (discussion)

I could be pretty keen for a new GCA game to play as they always are fun and it would give me something to do in the winter break. Don't have much GCA to play with in my area though :-(
