Correct. A hide only benefits the hider. If you want to help others you need to hide new ones by 30 Nov but they can be any size.

Thanks for the quick reply.
Should we hold an event like you are doing in Victoria for bringing moveables together as you hint at that being beneficial?

2018/2019 Summer Game
Time is getting close for the start of the Journey or Destination game. I have a couple of questions: 1. From reading rules, if you hide a cache during the games it will only benefit you as the rules state on finding a cache during game it has to have been published prior to 1.12.18? 2. Should we be...

Re: Spring Carnival
A bit quieter this week now the Dinos have stopped racing. I thoroughly enjoyed the race. It was great to see such a variety of dinosaurs and names. Just noticed we now have the virtual dinosaur icon on our page. Thanks to everyone who hid and moved the dinos and thanks to all the behind the scene f...

Re: Report Site Issues Here
I just logged a trig, TP6657. I cannot deploy points. If you are trying to add extra points from your dropped points eg enhancer drops you wont be able too as you never added extra points in the 7 days after you found it. As it is in an 'unknown zone' it is a waste of time so you have saved your po...

Re: Report Site Issues Here
Is there a problem with the daily update email not being sent or is it just me that's not receiving it? I've received it almost every day for a number of years. Haven't changed anything recently (site or mail server) yet haven't received the emails for a few days. I have received my email today. I ...

Re: Identifying pathtag
I have a pathtag stamped Geochaching Australia - New South Wales on the front and the number 3678695 stamped on the back. I have no idea how I came by this tag but would like to know its history. I don't know anything about tags at all. If you log into pathtags.com it will tell you all about the wo...

Re: Dinosaur Moveable Game September 2018
I found GA12934 today and moved it from its original position in Rokeby to Lauderdale. While checking the ladder I noticed It has not had a move registered. It shows no distance at all and no coordinates are showing in the published log now of where it started off. The coords in the published email ...

Re: Dinosaur Moveable Game September 2018
We are off and racing in Tasmania.
I notice that any dinosaurs published and released at 12.05 pm this morning do not have any dragon zone points allocated but ones that were published later do? Also I have moved 4 dinosaurs this morning and they do not appear on the ladder as yet.
