Re: "My Import" page.

Ah C@W, you are truly the man. =D>

You seem so good at all this web stuff, perhaps you can assist with a non-GCA issue I have. When I do my online banking I'm usually not that happy with the numbers I see. I'd like to have different numbers, or maybe more numbers. Can you help? [-o<

Re: Help tracking down o-rings

Try these http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/ORing-1KET4 I will keep looking They don't quote a shipping price, even after you register. So it could be anything from $0.00 to $100.00 I don't want to play that game. Great price though. I. GRAINGER STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS. 1. Wholesale Only. W.W....

Re: Help tracking down o-rings

Most automotive shops will sell these. Not that I've looked at the actual size you want or know what they charge for them.

Don't confuse charge out rates with labour rates. It'll just depress you.

Re: GSAK V8 Beta

I'd guess you need to look at how GSAK identifies "you". I think the recommendation from the GSAK team is to use the GC.com owner id. But GCA doesn't use this number, so you'll need to use your user name, hopefully in an "exact" match, but mine is in a wildcard match to get them all. Go to Tools, Op...

Re: Garmin Montana

I wonder if you could give us a quick outline of what the answer was here.

I did have a look at that thread, but it's 16 pages long and can't see an answer to this question. Mind you I only skimmed through 5 pages.

Re: "Dummy" cache placed near real cache by CO

This is one of those things that is clever if done well, such as a decoy in the obvious spot, and the real cache a tad more difficult. But also really annoying and painful when done poorly (which really means when I can't find the real one. )

Re: GSAK V8 Beta

Will have to find a better way to update the entire state and, as I live on the border, I'll need to do the same for NSW. I think the better way will be to treat this like a pocket query. Build a filter that has 2000 caches, and refresh that. Probably by date range. I've also found that the 6000 da...

Re: GSAK V8 Beta

Just found that there is a limit of 6000 caches you can pull through the API in a day, and 2000 in an hour. Though I didn't seem to get hit with the 2000 limit when I ran a refresh on my state DB which has about 6000 caches in it. I guess that means with Pocket queries and the API I could access 110...

Re: Garmin GPSMAPS 62s from overseas

The base maps aren't worth the paper they're printed on. About all these will show is what town your in and major highways. There are a few free mapping solutions which are quite good though. Shonkey Maps, OSM and Tracks 4 Australia for example. Given the value of the Australian dollar, I ...
