Go sans GPS

You would be better off with out a GPS. I have one, but it never seems to want to help me find caches.

I've asked the reviewers to post a find on my behalf before they publish new finds. Saves fuel and gets lots of FtF. Should see them coming through soon.

Palms

I had a Palm before the O2. It was light and small. But it didn't have a phone or BlueTooth.

Now that Palm is running windoze mobile, not sure what the point of going down the Palm path is.

Paperless Caching

Paperless caching is the way to go. It took me a while to get it all running, but now I would never go back. My GPS is a blue tooth unit I bought on eBay for $60. It couples to a pocket PC, that is also a mobile phone and has a 1gig Sd card. I have pocket queries on GC.com set to pick up most caches...

O2 to Dopod

I have a Dopod 838Pro. It replaced an O2 XDA II. It has a GPS chip built in, but apparently it is not connected to an aerial, so it's not enabled :-(

Cache Contents

I think putting items in a cache that are worth hundreds of dollars is way over the top. Especially if this is your first cache. Caching is meant to be a bit of fun. A good swap is nice to find, but the hunt is the point. If you want to spend some money on swaps, I'd get a bunch of good swaps, at sa...

Hide it Now

I think we want to see quality, not quantity. Though what makes a quality cache is another topic thread. New cachers shouldn't wait to long to give hiding a go. It's a good experience to set up a new hide. It gives you an appreciation for how much effort can go into a really good cache, and ...

Haystack Micro's....... Grrr

I hate the film canister, hidden in a huge hole in a tree trunk, (big enough for an ammo box) in a place that can only be felt out blind, where a snake or spider, or other creepy crawly could hide, in an isolated rural location and where the person who hid the cache has trouble finding the cache to ...

Hmmm, Checked this out a bit more. 1st page is not a WYSIWIG builder it's a HTML editor. So might not be what you are looking for. :(

I did say it was a while ago that I used it.
