Re: Movables - better logging

I thought we agreed on a solution to this all those years ago!
And it's currently the first item on the development list!

Re: Report Site Issues Here

5000 is extreme - I don't want 5000. All I really want is the 2000 odd non-powertrail caches in the area. But since you can't filter these out on the website, I need to download all of them and filter them myself.

The problem is only going to get worse as more powertrails are created...

Re: Report Site Issues Here

It seems to be a bit random, sometimes I get it sometimes I don't - the gmap source seems to trigger it every time though: http://geocaching.com.au/my/query/gmap_ ... 0/96114735

The count returns 4318 for me.

Re: Report Site Issues Here

Got this error when running query 4080: Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 8192 bytes) in /var/www/site/gca/include/gca_database.php on line 49 Given that another 800 cache powertrail has just been hidden in this area, I assume this error is due to too ma...

Works beautifully on an Android Chrome browser! Much easier to use than it used to be - thanks!

Side note: Why can the forum render the quote tag correctly but not the code tag?

Suggestion to make the maps work better on mobile browsers

I have been playing with the Google Maps API over the past few days and after much frustration at trying to get a usable map on a mobile browser, I found this: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/basics#Mobile If you insert the following tag into the page header it fits the m...

Re: Report Site Issues Here

I keep getting logged out of the forums after an hour or so - even though I tick the 'stay logged in' box. Have noticed this in both Chrome on Windows and Chrome on Android. Also, I am very impressed at the speed queries run at now! But... I got this error inside a KML file download: <br /> <b>Fatal...

Ah, I've done many earthcaches at Erratics - but none of them have looked anywhere near as impressive as that though!

Re: Souvenirs

Perhaps GC could make a souvie for every day of the year. Everyone will soon get sick of them and GC can then stop wasting time on worthless crap and start fixing all the problems people are complaining about. Wishful thinking ](*,) The problem is that from Groudspeak's point of view they aren't wo...

Re: Feature Request - mass tagging

I just made a query for the tag and noticed it was different to yours. Now I see that you have done active only over SA and Vic which makes sense. I did all caches in SA only. No big deal - just curious.

Re: Ammo can thief - a geocacher?

This has occurred in SA to. One of the theories we had was that the thief was at least aware of geocaching and how it works. If they leave the contents behind, the theft goes undetected for some time as the CO will continue to get "Found It" logs. And when they do work out that the ammo can is missi...

Re: Report GCA Site issues here

A minor issue with the "Find a Cache on Each Day of the Year" email reminders. Usernames with spaces don't get converted to URL format - ie. "Laighside Legends" should become "Laighside+Legends" for the URL link to the graph but it doesn't.
