I use the forum. I check in daily. It is getting quiet. I don't really understand much of the rest of the site, but I do try, every now and then.

I'm not sure that's the job of a pathtag bag, really, but I'd bet you could use one of those army (or other service) kit bag. You know the tough ones with the enormous zips?

I guess some people archive their caches because they no longer want people going to that spot and logging the cache - for whatever reason they might have. There are facebook pages, too. It might be helpful for you to look at one for people near you. I'm sure the people at the event will be able to help with that.

Perhaps there should be a new rule that allows for postage of a certain number of caches during the race, if you apply first and have a good and adequate reason (such as dying of heat on the Nullarbor Plain if you can't post the cache). Perhaps if we are each issued with, say, 3 electronic 'passes' ...

Hello lee738, and ziggiau! As you have kids, go for the larger caches. Kids LOVE treasure! It's a good idea to trawl through the kids' stuff and steal good swaps before you go out.
