SIRF 3

I have just upgraded my CF card GPS to a Haicom303III which has 20 channels and uses the SIRF starIII chipset. I can't believe the difference it has made. Outside I got a position in 10 secs. I then put the PDA in the car, attached an external antenna and parked the car in the middle of our 15m x10m...

One cachers inconvenience is another cachers challenge. For this team, any "traps" are part of the fun of caching. We don't mind if we have to come back to find the cache in 2 weeks, a year, or 5 yrs. Completing a cache on the same day is not a priority. We just put it in our diary for future comple...

We just had a caching holiday to NSW and Qld, 4000 kms approx, Fuel cost $1000 - caches - 45 Every time we filled up it was $100 - $120.00 in petrol. However we took our own accomodation (camper trailer) and total cost for the 2 weeks was $130.00. It won't slow our caching down as we don't spend alo...

Team Derringer has an EPIRB and takes it on all his solo walks.
I will also carry it on long distance walks in extremely remote areas.
ie SW Tasmania.

I am unable to access any cache details screen as the page now hangs trying to load an image file.
Am on dial-up access due to my location.
I have to abort the screen using Ctrl/Alt/Delete to regain access to the web.
Could you please make the map loading feature optional??

Am using a Haicom 302E CF card GPS with my Acer PDA. It works a treat. Besides giving me on line mapping (OziCE compatible) in the vehicle it works just as well in the field - as accurate as our other GPSr's - albeit it only gives single digit metres once you get below 10m to GZ ie 5m, 4m etc Althou...

For Team Derringer it is about Location, the journey and the challenge. A plastic box full of junk is not our reason to go to a location. Numbers of caches found for this team are irrelevant. The diverse range of locations, difficulty levels are a major attraction of the sport. It welcomes all manne...

You could convert them to .jpg images and then edit/print them to your hearts content.
See http://www.ghostscript.com/

Works for me :D
