Re: Postcrossing !
I blame mundoo too! LOL She infected me. I'm a lover of randomness, and Postcrossing is a beauty at that. Yesterday, mundoo and I attended the 10/10/10 geocaching event, but left early because we had to go to Rundle Mall to meet a group of Postcrossers for the first Adelaide Postcrossing Meetup. 3 p...

Re: DNF on muggled caches
Following my recent post, I looked for a multi in Victor Harbor yesterday and logged the DNF.
Today, I looked at the cache info again and discovered I had used S coord solution as E and vice versa. There should be a DOH! log type!!!

Re: DNF on muggled caches
I have a confession. I'm one of the 'blighters' that doesn't log all my DNFs. [-X Main reason: I'm LAZY! Sometimes, I'm not in the mood for searching & searching & searching! Esp if it's a micro on a cannon, or a micro / small that has been put out for no particular reason other than placing ...

Re: 917 Finds... In 24 hours. What the?!
Wow - I'm famous - I got a mention by firesafe 8) I live 100 km south of the APM Series, but my kids live 20km east, and a friend lives right in the middle of the series. I sometimes _USED_ to stay overnight at my friend's house when I visited my kids so I didn't have to travel up in the morning. Th...

Firesafe, Firies called to Panda enclosure, you say? Maybe WW & F are using a 'smoke screen' so thy can get out and about. I follow Wang Wang on twitter ... http://twitter.com/Wang__Wang and he is getting out and about all the time. Or It might be true that the government is using "smoke and mirrors...

Re: Geotalk 56 - all about Pathtags and pronouncing GEOCACHE
Great episode, well done. I'm not into pathtags, but enjoyed the interview. Its always interesting to hear different aspects. BTW I agree with the caller - it should be CASH (derived from french pronounced CASH-AY) but we're Aussies so we should do what we want to do and say CAYSH. We're losing too ...

Re: Moveable Cache Race
I've only just found out about the movables - so I'd love for as many as possible to keep going once comp is ended. I've had fun with 2 that are in the race but if I'd known earlier I would have participated in more.

Apty = short for Apteryx - the genus for kiwi. I'm an ex-pat kiwi living at Mosquito Hill, South Australia (I'll let you find MH as you're all geographically gifted hehe) I work in Goolwa, but on the weekends I head north to Korunye (again you'll have to find that yourself hehe) because my 16yo daug...

Another lover of GC Nav
I discovered caching because I got me a Nokia 6110 and went looking for programs to run on it, using the GPS. I am nearly up to 90 finds with it now - 2 months. I love it. Most have been easy and I have had a little bit of trouble in trees.<p> If I go for a cache in an area that I don't know I put t...
