Re: Pronounciation of caching
When I think of an offensive term for Aussies, I'll use it... wonder how it will be taken...
Besides "skip" or "skippy" ... because to be "skippy" means "damn great!" It's also a brand of peanut butter.

Re: Pronounciation of caching
I understand that to be true, but it's interesting that it is "acceptable" to call an American a "septic" "seppo", but not to call a Chinese person a "gook" "chink" etc ETC ETC ETC ETC.
Weird hypocrisy.

Re: Pronounciation of caching
Couldn't care less about the pronunciation personally, as even before Geocaching, the cayshe, cash thing was in dispute all over the world!
But referring to Americans as "Septics" is offensive.
As is calling an (American) Southerner a "yank."

Re: Kogan EVINAV G6 GPS - In car navigator
I have a feeling it might be running Nav N Go's "Igo" software and maps. Not even 20% sure on that though. The Evinav G3 uses Igo...so i would think maybe they're sticking with that? The Igo mapping with 3d shading and terrain blows Garmin & Tomtom out of the water. (in my opinion) Have been using a...

Re: geocaching.com Android app released!
I bought it as well. Wasn't happy about it being $10 in comparison to nearly all apps on the android market being half that price or less. I have absolutely no problem paying for programs on the market, but being such a Premium price (in comparison) to other programs just seems a bit arrogant for a ...

Re: GSAK Change - Build 7.7.2.42
I wonder if this will effect me having the software on 2 x computers?
I use a program to constantly synchronize the databases, and associated software.
With several people in the house, it nice to be able to grab whatever computer is free, and everything pretty much to be the same!

Re: Whos got a caching pen ?
can't believe no one's mentioned the old NASA vs the Russians joke.
NASA Spent $X-millions on designing a pen that would write in space.
The Russians used a pencil.....
