Bronnie - go to the moot - you can always go to a jamboree later, but there's only so many chances to go to a world moot while you're a rover.

Re: Scouting Cachers
I wonder if by setting up the GCA Event Cache - GA1702 for the Jamboree that will give away which lanky cacher is being referred to. As always, the fun part of the Jamboree events is seeing a number of cachers identified in person, and finding out that there's quite an overlap with Scouting! Note th...

1/ List your team name and how many people would be attending, even if it's a "maybe at this stage". Partic: 2 at this stage, but a lot can happen in a year. Additionally in discussions with a group of friends from various locations that may result in another 40 participants. They'll all register he...

You are taking my comment out of context. It was in response to Daks assertion that one has to have the same name on GC.com to be a " cacher". There are a lot of cachers here that use different names on each site. Granted, most eventually link them, but that's more for their convenience than someth...

Choose Darth's Adventure...
Today I'm off once again to try and (most likely unsuccessfully) find GCA cache Sith(y) Views by Darth Fellatio. Most recently, an attempt to get Darth to identify himself was in this post on etiquitte. I've snapshotted the relevant section of the thread, and open it up to further discussion here, a...

12 POI files, not 12 POI's. I'd set my POI Export Macro up to initially filter Trads and Multis into state by state groups, then each other cache type to their own POI file. I've now changed it to a POI file for each cache type, and that's working fine so far with just the dozen instead of 25 files ...

If it's the same as with what I've been playing with with my Ipaq in the past few days, you need to copy the OV2 and BMP files into the map folder for TomTom on your PDA. I'm assuming you're already syncing your PDA with your computer, in which case it should just be a case of putting the files into...

OK... Here we go... Answered my own question! There's an application called MightySync (US$5.95) which partners with ActiveSync and lets you set up sync folders between anywhere on your hard drive, and anywhere on your Pocket PC, including anywhere on Storage Cards. I've then setup GSAK to export To...

Where should I save my TomTom POI file from GSAK for IPaq?
Just installed TomTom today, as a potential replacement for Destinator (that alert on nearby POI feature's likely to reinflame my caching rate). I want my comprehensive daily GSAK macro to export the TomTom POI files automatically, but can't figure out the best place to save the file for my IPAQ so ...

Wow, they are expensive.
After going through the process this morning of trying to find replacement dash mount gear, I thought I'd add to the topic for future shoppers.
http://www.expansys.com.au have a large range of mounts, more for PDA users, but still worth checking through for Garmin users.
